As the school year begins, we will be having an Open House for all parents who want to know more about our ministry in the Catapult Chapel on Sunday, August 28 from 12:45-1:30PM. Come meet our (new) staff members, pick up the calendar for the school year and see what we are up to. There will be light snacks and refreshments to enjoy. Let us partner together in discipling our students!

God’s people are called to serve. But what exactly is service? What does it mean to serve the people of God? What is the manner in which we’re to serve? And what are we to do with the various hindrances and fears that cripple effective service? This class is designed to encourage God’s people to serve while equipping believers with a Biblical framework for how they should view themselves, others, and the task of service. Core Class 104, from our G.R.O.W. Teaching Ministry, will be held on Sundays, Sept. 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 9-10:30AM. You can sign up in the Main Hall on Sunday or online HERE.
At Living Hope, we gather on Sundays for corporate teaching and worship. During the week, we gather in regional small groups designed so that friends can grow together in Christ. We are excited that our Fall semester will track our preaching series on Wrestling with God | Striving with Family. Cell Groups will begin on or about September 16. To get into a cell group, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Two of the leading Christians bands in the country, Kings Kaleidoscope and Citizens & Saints, will be at Living Hope’s Undivided II on Saturday evening, September 17 from 7:30-10:30PM, as a part of their #liveloved tour. Undivided exists to inspire lives to love Christ more and we will allocate tickets for our Catapult, R28 and Prime ministries so that they can invite youth, collegians and young adults who do not have a church home.

We are excited to announce two upcoming sermon series. Our first series is “Voices from Beyond Our Walls” as we will have two leaders with different perspectives speak into the comforts of our church family. We look forward to welcoming Brett McCracken (BIOLA) on Aug. 28 and Vaughn Jarrett (The Way: A Praise Chapel) on Sept. 4. Our second series is a five part series on “Wrestling with God | Striving with Family” from our pastoral staff. The narrative of Jacob shows how our messiness with family is often actually a metaphor for our wrestling with God.
The GO! Guatemala Team will be collecting donations of school supplies, clothing, soccer shoes, and soccer balls starting Sunday, August 28 through Sunday, September 25. These donations will be provided to the children at Dorie’s Promise and/or the communities that the team will be visiting. Donation boxes will be set up in the Main Hall.
