We will be celebrating our 22nd anniversary with a special service, church-wide photo and lunch on Sunday, October 25. Please make every effort to be there on this day as we not only remember the faithfulness of God, but listen to what God has to say for us going forward as we ask if we are still ONMISSION?
We are excited to hear from our guest speaker for the day, Alan Frow. Alan Frow is the Lead Pastor of Southlands Church in North Orange County, California. Having spent ten years in church leadership in his native South Africa, Alan moved to the United States with his wife and three kids. His passion is to build a church with rich gospel-centered theology that also embodies Spirit-empowered mission. Alan’s collaborative approach to leadership is motivated by a desire to equip and train God’s people to be sent. Southlands has recently planted two communities in neighboring cities with a vision to plant communities throughout Southern California. Also on the horizon is a church plant in Chang Rai, Thailand that would focus on training and releasing leaders to minister in nearby Myanmar. Alan’s conviction to reach those who do not yet know Christ, making a vital contribution to his vision of planting and strengthening churches locally and around the world. Alan has authored two works, Worshippers Wanted: Inspiring and Equipping the Worshipping Church and Roots and Wings: Reflections of a Resident Alien Pastor.
Our church is going through a sermon series in the book of James called “Faith in a Messy World.” Our cell group studies will be based off of our Sunday sermons. Please listen and look.
