It will be a time when we invite, friends, family, city officials, pastors and others to celebrate with us and pray for this sacred space. Our guest speaker will be Pastor Cory Ishida of Evergreen SGV. Preparations are now underway and we are recruiting pilots! You can register online from April 29 through June 24 at www.livinghopecc.org/vbs. Catapult will be providing concessions for the players and spectators as a Summer Missions Fundraiser. Please begin registering your teams after service on Sunday, May 20. Women's Ministry Luncheon - June 10 Prayer Shower/ Sister to Sister debriefing : Come to this joint event! All ladies are invited to this special time! Look out for detail and rsvp via evite or lhccwomengmail.com . Save the Date! Discipleship Training Class #1 - Jun 3 Discipleship Training Class #1 starts on June 3rd (Sunday) at 9:20AM. There are 5 sessions to the class (6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24, 7/1). Each session will be held at the church in the Teaching Room (Room 213) . The class will be taught by Pastor David Kim. If so, come join us on May 19th (Saturday 9:00AM-3:00PM) as we explore Romans 6-8 with Dr. Walt Russell (Talbot School of Theology). Church Prayer Requests Pray for Min Lee as she will be stepping down from the Kingdom Kids director position at the end of June to have her second child. We are grateful that she will spend a portion of July to co-direct VBS. Pray that God would prepare the right person to lead our Kingdom Kids ministry. Pray that God's will be made evident to our elders as well as the candidate. Pray for Tim Pak as he graduates seminary moves back up to Seattle to church plant. Tim & Sako's last Sunday as the Route-28 director will be the end of June and their last Sunday at Living Hope will be the end of July. Pray that God would prepare the right person to lead our college ministry. Pray that God's will be made evident to our elders as well as the candidate. Praise God for His faithfulness these past 18 years at Rowland Elementary School. Pray for a God-honoring transition to the Brea church including: a. Completion of Phase 1 b. Provision of funds necessary to complete Phase 1 c. Attitude of thanksgiving and determination to do ministry through the church Pray that God would provide volunteers for the CE ministry during this season of growth. Pray that Living Hope in 2012 would: 1. Begin worship at our unfinished "Church to Call Home" 2. Strengthen our Core Ministries of Cell Group and Christian Education. 3. Launch a portion of the Radical Experiment.
