The Living Hope Choir seeks to serve God and the adult congregation through special music during the worship service presented about eight times a year.
Choral music has been an important part of traditional church worship services just as congregational prayer and offering have been. While contemporary worship services incorporate praise band and worship leaders in order to encourage direct participation by the congregation in praise, Living Hope Choir provides the blessing of indirect praise during the worship service.
Anyone who loves to sing to the Lord in harmony, young and old, high and low voices, male and female, are welcome. There are no required qualifications to join the choir (that means, you don’t have to know how to read music) aside from your desire to praise through choral music and faithfully attend the rehearsals. The choir meets at 9:30 a.m. on most Sundays in the Catapult room.
